Our General Manager, Dr. Erinç Albey, attended the Istanbul Twin Transformation Platform Conference held recently.

Bringing together key stakeholders of Istanbul’s twin transformation ecosystem the conference highlighted that green and digital transformation processes should be addressed not only through technological investments but also through organizational transformation and sustainable strategies.

Within the scope of the conference, we also took part together with our founding partner BEYSAD’s Secretary General, Ayşegül Koç.

Key topics included center-based structures for SMEs, awareness building capability development, and access to finance. A strong emphasis was placed on viewing transformation not as an end goal but as a tool for enhancing competitiveness and sustainability.

From the perspective of the future of our industry it was once again underlined that technology, energy, and data management must be handled in an integrated manner.

As OzUBEX we continue to deliver value driven solutions throughout the twin transformation journey, from analysis to implementation.

We were pleased to host the ETİ Alüminyum team at our center, in collaboration with IBA & Morbee, as OzUBEX.

During the visit, our Project Manager Gizem Aslantepe presented our center’s vision, services, and our holistic approach to digital and green transformation.

Our R&D Engineer Yashar Sardroudi shared insights on our production infrastructure and application areas, while our General Manager Dr. Erinç Albey provided a comprehensive overview of our technical capabilities, advanced manufacturing technologies, and ongoing projects.Through the center tour, participants had the opportunity to experience our production areas and technology-driven working model on-site.

We believe this valuable meeting will pave the way for sustainable collaborations, and we thank the ETİ Alüminyum team for their kind visit.

Within the scope of the Digital Europe Programme, we participated in the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Coordination Meeting held in Ankara in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and KOSGEB, together with İHKİB as the coordinator of the EDIH MIDAS Consortium.

Our General Manager, Erinç Albey, attended the meeting on behalf of our centre. The discussions focused on the first-year activities of the operational EDIHs in Türkiye, roadmaps for the upcoming centres, cooperation opportunities supporting SME digitalisation, and EU funding opportunities.

Cooperation between EDIH MIDAS and EDIH West Marmara was also highlighted. In particular, twin transformation training and consultancy activities delivered by ÖzÜBEX in cooperation with the Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı for OIZs and chambers of commerce and industry in the region were presented as a concrete example of inter-EDIH collaboration.

We believe such collaborations will further strengthen national and international cooperation among EDIHs.

As part of the visit, our General Manager, Dr. Erinç Albey, shared a detailed introduction to our center’s areas of operation, technical infrastructure, and equipment. We believe that this constructive exchange, shaped by mutual insight and dialogue, has also established a valuable basis for future collaboration opportunities.

We were pleased to host Istanbul Kent University at OzUBEX.

During their visit, we had the opportunity to provide a comprehensive overview of our centre’s founding approach, technical and machinery-equipment infrastructure, as well as our areas of application. In particular, we engaged in a productive exchange of views on the establishment of a similar structure, focusing on our centre’s infrastructure, operational model, and the knowledge and experience we have gained throughout its development process.

We believe that such engagements strengthen the transfer of expertise between institutions, contribute to the wider dissemination of good practices, and lay a valuable foundation for potential collaborations in the future.

Within the module titled “Designing the Future Together: Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, and Next-Generation Collaborations,” Dr. Erinc Albey, General Manager of OzUBEX, contributed to the program with his session on Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

During the session, the role of digitalization and artificial intelligence in institutional transformation processes was discussed, while the importance of sustainability and next-generation collaborations in shaping the future of business was also addressed within a comprehensive framework.

As part of the program, the OzUBEX tour also provided participants with the opportunity to closely explore our center and its areas of work. In this way, the program evolved into a productive gathering where theoretical content was supported by on-site experience.

As OzUBEX, we are pleased to be part of such gatherings that strengthen knowledge sharing and a culture of collaborative learning.

As OzUBEX, we were pleased to host the Global Technology Development Digitalization & Automation Team of Hayat Kimya San. A.Ş. at our center, in collaboration with Morbee Industry.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to introduce our center and working areas, and to conduct a comprehensive discussion on our ongoing projects, our approach to digital transformation, and our technology-driven initiatives.

We would like to thank the Hayat Kimya team for their kind visit and valuable contributions, and we believe that this meeting will serve as a strong foundation for mutual knowledge exchange and sustainable.

The meeting, held with the participation of 12 different institutions, addressed the current landscape, needs, and future opportunities in digital and green transformation from the perspectives of both the centers and businesses.

We highly value the discussions around the centers’ capacity and sustainability, maturity models for digital/green transformation, consultancy capabilities, technology infrastructures, and access to finance.

We believe that the joint solutions developed based on real needs from the field will contribute tangibly to the digital and green transformation journeys of businesses.
