As OzUBEX Industrial Transformation Center, we had the opportunity to attend the 3rd Kaizen Conference as part of our activities carried out under EDIH MIDAS and closely follow the latest approaches shaping the transformation agenda.

We would like to thank Dr. Muhsin Güneşlik, the teams of KalDer,as well as all speakers and panelists for their valuable insights and contributions.

Throughout the conference various applications and best practices related to lean transformation continuous improvement operational excellence, digitalization, sustainability were discussed.The presentations delivered by Toyotetsu,Wagner Kablo,Panasonic, Norm Fastener LC Waikiki,Kar Porselen once again highlighted the importance of leadership, employee engagement and a culture of continuous improvement in transformation processes.

During the event, we also held productive meetings with our technology partners FESTO and Vintes Mühendislik while new collaboration opportunities with ecosystem stakeholders. We believe these collaborations will support businesses’ transformation journeys through EDIH MIDAS.

Within the framework of the European Digital Innovation Hub EDIH MIDAS project, as we enter the 18-month reporting period, we came together at the invitation of our valued consortium partner, the Center of Excellence for Composite Technologies, operating under Sabanci University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center . The meeting provided an opportunity to review our project activities and outline our plans for the upcoming period.

During the meeting, we evaluated the project’s achievements to date, along with the administrative and technical reporting processes, and discussed our roadmap for the next phase. We also exchanged knowledge and experience between institutions, sharing insights to further enhance the impact of our project activities.

We continue to strengthen our collaboration in line with our digital and green transformation goals.

During the visit, comprehensive evaluations were made on digital transformation in industry, efficiency-oriented technologies, and innovative practices in production processes. In the meetings, where solution proposals for the transforming needs of the sector were discussed, ideas were exchanged regarding collaboration opportunities and future joint projects.

As OzUBEX, we continue to support strong partnerships that will contribute to the transformation journey of the industry, and to add value to the production ecosystem through technology-driven solutions.

The visit, organized by the Thrace Development Agency, which leads the EDIH West Marmara ADIM Consortium in Thrace, was valuable in terms of strengthening cooperation between ADIMs.

During the visit, our Project Manager Gizem Aslantepe shared information about our center’s founding purpose, strategic vision, services offered to industry, and our digital & green transformation approach. Evaluations were made on ongoing projects and ecosystem collaborations.

Our Hardware Technician Eren Zeytünlü provided technical information about our production infrastructure, advanced production technologies, and ongoing projects.

Furthermore, within the scope of our collaborations with the Thrace Development Agency, we provide training and consultancy support to Organized Industrial Zones and Chambers of Commerce in the Thrace Region in the field of twin transformation. These efforts contribute to regional capacity development and lay the groundwork for sustainable collaborations.

We are very pleased to continue our training program, launched in collaboration with the Trakya Development Agency, together with the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We came together with industrial organizations affiliated with the Chamber at Edirne TSO and took the first steps of the transformation journey together. On the first day of our training program, our Project Manager Gizem Aslantepe delivered a comprehensive presentation on grant and incentive mechanisms within the scope of digital and green transformation. Throughout the program, the services offered by our center, the projects we are currently carrying out, and our success stories were shared with the participants. In addition, a productive exchange of information was held regarding open calls, potential collaborations, and evaluation criteria. We would like to thank all participants who joined us in this valuable program that aims to contribute to the green and digital transformation of the industry.

As the OzUBEX Industrial Transformation Center, we successfully completed the “AI Training for Executives | AI for Executives” program organized by the Continuing Education Academy.

The program provided a comprehensive overview of the transformative impact of artificial intelligence in the business world, its strategic applications for executives, and current use cases. Discussions based on real-world business scenarios gave participants the opportunity to assess the impact of artificial intelligence, ranging from decision-making processes to operational efficiency.

Throughout the training, our General Manager, Dr. Erinç Albey, presented the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, its transformation-focused approach, and its strategic importance for executives within a comprehensive framework. We would like to thank the Continuous Education Academy team for their efforts in organizing this valuable event, as well as all participants who contributed to the program.

We were delighted to take part in the AI Research Day event organized by Özyeğin University.

As part of the event, which focused on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in supply chain management, OzUBEX General Manager Erinç Albey and Eczacıbaşı Healthcare Group Supply Chain Director Berkay Bozkuş shared their insights on the impact of data-driven technologies on operational processes.

They also provided valuable information about the Procurement Control Tower approach developed through the collaboration OzUBEX. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to engage in productive discussions on how AI-powered systems are transforming decision-making mechanisms, enhancing operational visibility, and contributing to the development of more agile, sustainable, and resilient supply chain structures.

Throughout the visit, we had the opportunity to share not only our technical capabilities but also our innovative production approach, collaborative working culture built on knowledge sharing, and our development vision focused on qualified human capital.
